How do I get care after regular office hours?

If you need care after normal office hours and it is an emergency, go to the hospital emergency room. If you need care after normal office hours for non-emergency care but for care that you believe cannot wait until regular office hours, call your practitioner’s office. When should I go to the emergency room?

If you believe your condition requires emergency care, call 911 or go to the emergency room. BHPI will pay for emergency care and services. Pre-authorization is not required.

What is my cost for services?

If you are enrolled in Medicaid and meet the criteria for mental health and substance use services, all approved services are provided without cost to you. Services must be approved before you receive them to avoid charges.
